Description

HOST:  The Minnetonka Swim Club

QUALIFYERS:      A/B Finals for 12 & Under; A/B/C Finals for 13 & Over.  Must have verifiable A, B, and C times (and no higher.  )

FEES:  $4 per entrant (swimmer) and $6.50 per swim.               

1. Note the events that you want to swim.
2. Send your entries to mtkaswimentries@gmail.com .
3. Make sure that you email your entries by no later than 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 23.
   Preliminary entries will be posted Tuesday evening; final changes will be due noon Wednesday, February 24.
4. Your e-mail should contain the swimmer’s name, birth date, and events to swim each day
5. Keep a copy of entries for your records.
6. You will be invoiced for the proper amount following the final entries.  

Entries turned in late cannot be guaranteed entry into the meet; please make sure to review the entry deadline and submittal procedure.

 

Location:       MME Aquatic Center

 

 

Awards:          A Events--Medals will be awarded to 1st through 8th place.
B Events--Rosette Ribbons will be awarded to 1st through 8th place.
C Events--Strip Ribbons will be awarded to 1st through 8th.
Certificates will be issued for new Champ, A and B times. 

 

Time Schedule:  

Friday afternoon session–Warm-ups at 4:20-5:20 PM; meet starts at 5:30 PM. Saturday and Sunday Morning sessions-Warm-ups start at 7:20-8:20 AM, meet starts at 8:30 AM.
Saturday and Sunday afternoon sessions-Will not start before 11:30 AM preceded by a 60-minute warm-up, and a 10-minute break for a coaches meeting.

 

Entry Limits:  Swimmers may compete in a maximum of 4 events each day.

 

TIME TRIALS:  Time trials will be offered (time permitting) following the morning and afternoon sessions. Time trials are open only to swimmers in the meet. Time trials count toward a swimmer’s entry limit for the day (a swimmer may swim 5 individual events if one is a time trial). Sign up will be at the pool entrance door. There will be a cost of $5.00 per time trial event. Warm-ups for time trials will be allowed as time permits at the discretion of the meet referee.
