The BAC meet
(July 17-18) significantly limited their entries (due to their time
restrictions in their pool), which meant 8 invited teams--including
Minnetonka--were unable to enter the meet.
Minnetonka
has agreed to host these 8 teams next weekend at the Minnetonka
Aquatics Center in a newly-organized meet.
This
gives our swimmers and those from the other teams
a final chance to obtain times that let
them participate in the A/B/C and State championship
meets.
Entries for all swimmers who were entered into the BAC
meet have been automatically transferred to this meet.
Changes to these entries, and swimmers who did not enter the BAC
meet but would like to enter the MTKA meet, may do so online
by NOON on Tuesday,
July 13. (Meet
information is attached).
VOLUNTEERS are also needed. Please see
the volunteer sign-up online. Note that this is NOT expected
to be a long meet: Warm-ups begin at 8:00; the meet begins
and 9:00 and is expected to run less than four hours. Like
the BAC meet, the 12 and unders will swim Saturday, and the 13 and
overs will swim on Sunday.
