Welcome to Minnetonka Masters!

Minnetonka Masters is a swim club for swimmers with a broad range of abilities and ages (18+). Our members include fitness swimmers, triathletes, and competitive swimmers. We are part of both Minnesota Masters and United States Masters Swimming, a national organization with more than 60,000 members which promotes adult health, wellness, fitness, and competition through swimming.

Minnetonka Masters has workouts scheduled each weekday, led by a qualified swim coach, who develops different workouts for different groups/abilities of swimmers in a setting that is both fun and challenging. During each practice the coach works with the swimmers to improve their swimming technique.

Masters Workout Schedule

Minnetonka Masters have workouts scheduled for six days a week throughout the year. We welcome visiting Masters swimmers who are USMS members for a $10 drop-in fee.

Cost

  1. USMS: Minnetonka Masters swimmers must join United States Masters Swimming. You can register on the USMS website for $60 annually. We are the workout group MTK under the club, MINN (Minnesota Masters). USMS membership provides individuals and the club with insurance coverage, a subscription to SWIMMER (the official magazine of USMS), STREAMLINES eNewsletters, the ability when traveling to swim with other USMS teams across the country, and is required to compete in USMS sanctioned competitions.

  2. Club Dues: All team members pay club dues. All accounts for Minnetonka Masters are invoiced monthly for unlimited number of workouts each month. Payment by check or credit card. Fee: $55.00/month

    Our automated billing system for monthly payments offers the option to auto-pay by credit card. Once your credit card is on file, your auto payment will be billed on the first of each month for that month of swimming.

    If you choose to pay by check or cash, that payment will be due to the coaches by the 5th of each month.

    If for any reason you wish to alter your membership, you must inform office manager Ila Wheeler ([email protected]) of the change by the 20th of the previous month. Refunds will not be given.

  3. You also need to register with Minnetonka Swim Club to create a profile on the website. Your profile is used to manage all activities including email updates from the coaches and monthly payments.

  4. Drop-Ins: We welcome visitors who are USMS members. Our drop-in fee is $10 per visit paid via cash or check immediately prior to each workout.

    • For Minnetonka swimmers under the age of 18:
      • Must notify lead Masters coach (Carrie Stolar) at least 24 hours in advance
      • May not swim a separate workout from the Masters
      • $10 drop-in fee
      • Must be related to a Masters swimmer in attendance
